Grenache

GRENACHE

Grenache is well-adapted to heat and drought. It possesses a profound capacity to express the character of the soil, climate, and terroir where it grows. With a highly sensual aromatic profile, it produces wines of great complexity and structure. Notes of citrus fruits with a background of balsamic and spices are characteristic of Gernache.

Carignan

CARIGNAN

Carignan is a relatively productive variety that requires plenty of sunshine to ripen properly. Carignan wines have a pronounced pigmentation and are aromatically very intense and moderately alcoholic, while also boasting excellent acidity. On the palate, they are slightly astringent and very elegant.

Trepat, native to Conca de Barberà, is a red variety traditionally used for rosé Cavas.

TREPAT

Trepat, native to Conca de Barberà, is a red variety traditionally used for rosé Cavas. It stands out for its vibrant acidity, subtle red fruit and spicy notes. Though once underappreciated, Trepat is now gaining recognition for producing distinctive, terroir-driven rosés and light red wines with finesse.

Parellada

PARELLADA

Parellada is one of the traditional white grapes used in Cava, but in Conca de Barberà, it holds particular significance. Grown at higher altitudes, it delivers notable freshness, fine acidity and delicate aromas of citrus and white flowers. When sourced from old vines and well-exposed plots, Parellada shows remarkable potential for elegant, long-aged sparkling wines.
